Peter & Yvonne Gillespie became the National Coordinators for Wycliffe Associates Australia 3 years ago when they were looking for a way to serve God in their retirement. Not content to waste away their best years in a retirement village – Peter and Yvonne are now travelling all around the Pacific using their years of experience in agriculture, management, administration and education for the glory of God. They have a deep commitment to the gospel, Christian mission and the Bible translation task.
Over recent years Peter and Yvonne have been able to help Wycliffe Bible Translators with building projects and maintenance in Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, PNG, Melbourne and Darwin. In doing so they are continuously discovering the possibilities for Christians from all walks of life to use their skills in supporting the Bible translation movement.
