A short-term mission trip will expose you to a very different worldview.
Taking a trip into a different culture not only adds a new perspective to life, it provides a whole new view through someone else’s eyes. Short-term mission trips are an unforgettable and exciting way to get a taste of cross-cultural mission.
Wycliffe offers several exciting adventures throughout the year. Prayerfully consider which one you would like to be involved in, and prepare to have your world changed!
This is much more than just a mission trip, it is a life changing interaction with a marginalised Filippino minority group.
Starting in Melbourne, travelling to Manila and ending up in the heartland of the language group, spend 21 days moving around on many modes of transport – buses, jeepneys, tricycles or by foot! Working in small teams and carefully researching and discovering the culture, you will help pastors and leaders understand what is culturally relevant and what is Western Christianity.
‘ I can speak to my friends and relatives about the Lord using our own language and culture. I didn’t know that before … We [Ifugaos] thought we had to do it all in English and in Western ways but now we know we don’t!’
- Mirian Ifugao dentist
