| Description: |
Have you done exegetical training at Bible college and wondered how you might use this in the mission scene? We need you to work with our translation teams in Papua New Guinea. You would help them prepare text for translation, working with the back translation to help verify its accuracy and helping in the revision process by raising questions and supplying exegetical insight. |
| Requirements: |
· A good understanding of language and culture acquisition
· A basic understanding of sociolinguistics, syntax, discourse studies and Scripture use
· Good understanding of translation principles and cultural anthropology
· Expertise in biblical exegesis, usually with source language expertise. (usually with a degree in Bible and/or exegesis)
