Good news in anyone's language
See the Impossible

What the Ad Says
Once a vision is caught – anything is possible. At Wycliffe, our vision is to start a Bible translation project in every language that needs it by 2025. To achieve that vision seems humanly impossible, but with God all things can be done. Today, there are a record number of translation projects in progress and we start a new project every five days. This will impact the lives of millions of people around the world - good news in anyone’s language. Catch the vision, and see God do the impossible.

The Story behind the Ad

We truly believe our God is a God of the impossible. How could we not? The Bible we translate tells us that (Luke 18:27). The theme of this Ad campaign is "Catch the Vision: see the Impossible", seen in the Vision 2025 logo (top left-hand corner of the Ad).

The purpose of this Ad is to remind us that Vision 2025 is a faith venture and is not to be attempted in human strength. That's not to say we won't do everything humanly possible to achieve it, but we rely on God's strength  - not ours - to get the job done. Our personal walk with him, our prayer-life and our heart-attitude, are therefore important. We will attempt great things for Him, and expect great things from Him, but we know that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 6:18). Without a vision of what God can do, it's impossible to get excited about Vision 2025.

To learn more about the biblical basis for Vision 2025 read the two 'Beyond Word' articles 'Catch the Vision: See the Impossible' and 'An Impossible Challenge?'.
