Thank You

Wycliffe Australia does its best to acknowledge and receipt all gifts, both from our head office and via the individual staff who benefit.  But we're not just interested in the gift - we want you to feel a part of what we do - a partner. And we want to say 'thank you'.

Our financial supporters are valued partners in our work. Over the decades this partnership has had an impact globally on Bible translation.  None of it would be possible without the often sacrificial - even extravagant -  giving of thousands of individuals and churches.

How do we use these gifts? Our individual staff communicate the specifics of how funds are used in their regular newsletters to supporters. In general, these gifts cover the living expenses of staff and their families around the world, wherever they are assigned.

Some of these assignments are in inaccessible regions, and your gifts allow us to use modern technology to access people outside the reach of conventional transport, and to operate efficiently under conditions many would consider adverse. Allowing us to turn 'Good News in Anyone's Language' from rhetoric to reality.

Part of every gift - currently 10% - goes toward our National Office for administration purposes, recruitment, training, staff care and the like. The rest goes straight to the designated staff person or project.

Our God is a gracious God who supplies all our needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus. It is our eternal privilege to be on the receiving end of such amazing grace. We know that behind every gift is a story. Behind every gift is a heart God has touched. Behind every gift is a person who has said 'Yes' to God. Behind every gift is a soul touched by God's generosity, that has learnt to rely on God for their own provision while richly blessing others with it. We celebrate the journey as much as the gift, our generous God as much as the giver.

Our prayer supporters are partners in our work. This is one piece of our support network whose work we rarely get to see - yet we experience the results daily. Cross-cultural work is always spiritually challenging. Without prayer support, none of us could continue. God alone knows what obstacles have been overcome only through the prayers of the faithful.

How can we thank you enough for that?

Our prayer is that the God who sees all and hears all and knows where you are will meet all your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus. We long for the day when we too will see a great multitude that no one can count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb - worshipping.

Thank you.
