Fund a Vision 2025 Overseas Project

In Hebrews 4:12 (NIV) the writer tells us that the Word of God is living and active. The Apostle Paul states in Romans 1:16 that he is not ashamed of the gospel that is the power of God for the salvation of everyone. But how can those in need believe in the one of whom they have not heard (Romans 10:14) unless they can read about the Good News of Jesus Christ in their own tongue?

Will you help Wycliffe in the work of Bible translation and literacy? Below are some of the projects that currently need support. Description:

The goal of this project is to increase the use of mother tongue materials in church-based literacy classes. This will be achieved by creating interest, instilling knowledge and understanding, and motivating local church leaders to increase their involvement.

Funding is needed for programs for oral strategies to allow people the opportunity to hear Bible stories from the Word of God for the first time, and to give access those who cannot read.

Description:
Funds are required to adapt three languages using Waima as a source language and the Adapt It program to produce three New Testament and one Old Testament translations.

Description:
Funding is needed for training 50 local and para–church workers in writing up 12 months of Bible reading notes in Solomon Islands Pijin.

About three million people will be helped by funds being provided for the establishment and promotion of sustainable literacy programs and literature production in ten languages.

Help is needed to provide funds for mother tongue speakers of two languages to gain the literacy skills needed to read and use the Scriptures and other materials for their spiritual and socio-economic well-being.

Description:
Funding is needed for training workshops which will help bring literacy and advanced skills to adults of the Ai and Aisi language groups living in the Oro province of PNG.
