Isaiah 52:7 reminds us that the feet of those who bring good news are beautiful, but our financial supporters - who literally put shoes on our feet - keep us running! Wycliffe Australia is a non-profit organisation and a registered charitable institution. We run on the income provided by individuals and churches whom God has moved to be involved. If God has moved you, we invite you to become our financial partner in Vision 2025. Here's how you can help.

Provide regular income support for a Wycliffe member
Wycliffe members don't receive a salary. They depend on a team of people to provide regular financial support. Members financial needs depend on factors such as the cost of living in their assigned country, work related expenses and number of dependents. We insist that members have the full amount promised before they go on assignment.

Our members' responsibility is to regularly connect with their support team. The Wycliffe member you support will provide you with ongoing information about their work via letters, emails or personal visits. You don't just give money, you gain a relationship.

To find a Wycliffe member to support, first check with your Pastor or Mission Committee. Your church may already be committed to support a particular member, and members routinely visit supporting churches when in Australia. If your church does not already support a Wycliffe member, contact us and we'll link you up.

Support the HIV-AIDS Literacy PNG fund
HIV-AIDS has been introduced in Papua New Guinea and has a significant hold on the nation. There is a great need to communicate clearly how HIV-AIDS is caught and how it can be avoided. Education is needed in each vernacular language. Wycliffe Australia and its partners have created an opportunity to place people with literacy skills to work with village-level literacy programs that include HIV-AIDS awareness materials, Bible studies and educational materials. To help this effort, Wycliffe Australia has created the HIV-AIDS literacy PNG fund.

Top up the Supplementary Support Fund
Sometimes financial support doesn't come as expected and a Wycliffe member is left with a shortfall. To cover gaps, Wycliffe has a Supplementary Support Fund. The fund accepts one-off gifts or regular donations. Each month, money is distributed to members whose financial support has fallen below expectations. The fund is not a long-term solution, but a safety net allowing members to keep working until other people are found to join their support team.

Provide a Bequest
For the peace of mind of your loved ones, the Government recommends you make a will. If you don't, the law has to follow its own dictates and is forced to distribute your assets in ways you may not have wished. If spreading God's Word has been one of your life goals, you may want to remember Wycliffe in your will. In this way, you can ensure your commitment to Bible translation and literacy will continue after you die.
