Who and what needs financing

Regular income support for a Wycliffe member

Wycliffe members don’t receive a salary and depend on others to provide regular financial support for their needs, based on the cost of living in their assigned country and work-related expenses. But this isn’t just about handing over a cheque.

Our members regularly connect with their support team. The Wycliffe member you support will provide you with ongoing information about their work via letters, emails or personal visits. You don’t just give money, you gain a relationship.

Your church may already be committed to supporting a particular member, and members will visit supporting churches when in Australia. If your church does not support a Wycliffe member, contact us and we’ll link you up with a member.

Top up the Supplementary Support Fund

If financial support doesn’t come as expected, members on the field can be left with difficulties to make ends meet. The Supplementary Support Fund covers these gaps. The fund accepts one-off gifts or regular donations. Each month, money is distributed to members whose financial support has been low.
