Probe Course – a week in the Yarra Valley

Probe is a five day course to discover what Bible translation is all about. Come and stay for a week at the Wycliffe Kangaroo Ground centre in the Yarra Valley, Victoria.

Get a taste of translating the Bible for minority people groups around the world. In just 5 days, PROBE will help you grasp the foundations of linguistic study and application; introduce you to the world of translation; fast track your language learning with the latest strategies; and open doors for you into other cultures. A must for anyone considering cross-cultural work.

Xplore Translation trys to answer the question – Why should I be involved in Bible translation? During the one day seminar participants are introduced to three of the foundational facets of Bible translation – language learning, translation and literacy. Through these segments the vision of Wycliffe is introduced and an understanding is gained about the challenge that minority language churches face without language development ministry.

Brisbane to do maintenance and renovate a kitchen in the Wycliffe flats

SIL Port Moresby PNG – internal painting and kitchen renovation of SIL house
